Growatt is one of the largest PV inverter manufacturers in the world. Their sales across Australian states have increased dramatically over the previous years – mainly attributed to their reliable on-grid and off-grid solutions. As of 2019, their total shipments amount to 1.33 million inverters in over 100 countries. A considerable investment in R&D, and remote diagnostic services have helped them in increasing their reliability and performance consistently in even the most demanding applications of PV industry. Back in 2016, Liander PV plant was the largest PV system installed in a parking lot in Netherlands. Located in Doetinchem, it has a capacity of 1.5MW with 70 Growatt 20kUE inverters. This is one of their premium 3-phase models. Dalfsen 570kW rooftop solar is another such large-scale system in Netherlands which makes use of Growatt Max inverters. In addition, the Benelux economic region has a total of 300MW equivalent residential solar systems with Growatt inverter models.
The Growatt Max 70KTL3 LV was used in a 1.2MW project in Zhejiang province. It consists of 4300 panels. A 3MW solar plant was used in the second largest e-commerce platform in China. It uses 38 Growatt HE inverters. The 40000TL3-NS was used in one of the biggest deployments of Growatt systems – the Galanze 52MW rooftop system. The Foxconn, one of the world’s biggest manufacturers of technology products, uses 100MW growatt inverter system in a ground mounted array in Nanyang city.
When it comes to hybrid storage systems, a 50kW solar hybrid project in Vietnam saw the commissioning of JPS50 model that has PV, battery and grid connection within the same inverter. The first ever solar power plant in Iran, uses the CP250 model. This specific model has the advanced MPPT algorithms for efficient grid management to maximize return-on-investment for PV installations in underdeveloped economies.
