Training

Our 'basic' service is to assist clients and owners to understand and maintain their own installations. As part of the installation supplies a comprehensive 'Instruction and Maintenance Manual', in accordance with AS.4509-3, which is 'custom made' to match the size, operation and basic maintenance procedures of the equipment installed. This includes detailed safety information, start-up and shut down procedures and is designed to ensure owners become familiar with all aspects of their installation.

From time to time conduct one  and two day workshops which include 'hands on' practical exercises, demonstrations, lectures, course notes and specialized instruction in the use of students own test equipment (electronic meters etc.) All equipment is supplied for these workshops including solar panels, batteries, fuse equipment, cables, regulators, inverters and some test equipment. These are usually full day workshops and a fee applies which includes morning and afternoon tea and a light lunch.

Information talks can be delivered to interested groups ranging from school students to service clubs and both trade and professional associations.
